SOCIETY FOR PEOPLE’S INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT ® (SPID) is incepted in the year 2004 by like-minded, dedicated Social Workers, Educationists, and Professionals with an aim to bring socio-economic, education and health developments among the rural and urban populace particularly aiming at backward classes, reserved community, minority, poor of the poorest with due focus on women and children.
The organization is registered under Karnataka State Societies Registration Act 1960 with the Governing Body consisting of 07 members with due representation of females. The organization Registered Office is at Haruvanahalli Village near Kadur Town in Kadur Taluk of Chickamagaluru District and its Administrative Office is functioning in a rented building at the above address as is mentioned in the top sheet of this annual report. The organization Chief Functionary is Mr. K. Prakasha is a Post Graduate in Social Work and Under Graduate in Education with adequate experience in social work which includes various sectors in urban and rural development programs. The organization does have required automation, training materials, furniture, and fixtures with the required number of two-wheelers to suffice the needs of implementing the rural and urban development programs. The required field and administrative personnel are also available with the organization.
