This project is brought under the Mission of Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JnNURM) to reduce the problems increasing due to the massive emergence of rapid growth in the urban population In this mission it is identified SLUMS is one of the components due to un-hygienic slum dwelling condition with poor health, school dropouts, undernourished, poverty and unemployment, Child marriages & Child labor etc., Karnataka Slum Development Board, (KSDB) Bangalore has been vested with the responsibility. The project is sanctioned in respect of Chickamagaluru district covering the Five Local Bodies limits of Chickamagaluru (CMC), Kadur, Birur, Tarikere (TMCs), and Sringeri (TP) (Total 050 Slum Locations) with the sanctioned budget amount of RS. 3600100.00 The project is incepted in Chickamagaluru district on 26-03-2018 with its Project Site Office at Ambedkar Nagara, Malleshwara Road, KADUR – 577548 in Chickamagaluru district. The project is completed on 25-03-2019 by implementing the following project activities.
